Wood Absorbs Water After Storm

This home in Boston, MA experienced major water loss after rain storm. The customer had hardwood flooring and it adsorbed a good portion of the moister. When our team arrived we used our non penetrating moister meter to detect that the hardwood and subfloor was wet. Notice in the pictures that a portion of the walls were also removed. This is because the part of the wall that connects with the floor was affected by the standing water as well.
